Volunteer

There are many different ways that you can volunteer for The F.L.O.R. Project. For those who do not live in the Philippines, there are two major areas that you can volunteer your time and talents. Both will be accomplished on-line, so having good Internet access is important.

Teaching Bible As all of the people who have open loans through The F.L.O.R. Project will be involved in Bible study weekly, this is an important area of emphasis. Teachers must have a Certification in Evangelism Explosion and/or a degree in Bible from an accredited Bible college, and be able to teach Bible that is Baptist in doctrine.

Business Advisor The business owners who receive the micro-loans likely will have questions about areas of running a business that are new to them. To be a Business Advisor, you must have been in business or managed a business for a minimum of 5 years; we would prefer those who also have a business degree. It is important that you adhere to our statement of faith, must be in good standing in your local church and have a recommendation from your Pastor. You must be able to teach in an on-line setting. It is very helpful if you are already familiar with Moodle or other on-line classroom software, but it is not mandatory.

Philippine Residents For those who live in the Philippines and wish to volunteer in person, please contact Kenny Long at the U.S.A. Headquarters by e-mail, and he will help to put you in touch with the appropriate person. We appreciate all of those who wish to volunteer and will do our best to provide an appropriate opportunity for you to do so!

If you live in another country and wish to volunteer, please contact Kenny Long at the U.S.A. Headquarters by e-mail, and he will help to put you in touch with the appropriate person.

The things you have learned and received and heard and seen in me,
practice these things, and the God of peace will be with you.

It all starts with you.
